Fallen Condition

We believe the gospel in the sanctuary but fail to walk in the step with the truth of it in everyday life. For fear of social cost and the pull of in-group pressure, we quietly redraw the boundaries Christ already broke down, and we become hypocrites, believing one thing on Sunday and living another by Monday.

Solution in Christ

At the cross every social group united against Jesus, and Jesus died for every one of them. He purchased every seat with His own blood and broke every barrier the world uses to keep people out.

Vision for The Grove

The Grove to become a church whose Sunday table sets the pattern for every other table in our week. We are not a welcoming church only in name but a people who make room beside us in our homes, our families, our workplaces, and our neighborhoods. A community in step with the gospel, where unity grows out of diversity and laughter rings out from a table where no one needs an invitation to belong.
